Rivers and the people on them

Long documentary projects by Ines Calvo, one river at a time.

How a river project runs

Slowly, and always with the same people.

Plate 2. A hut at the end of a plank walk through the reeds.
  1. Walk it

From the source to the sea, on foot and by boat.

  2. Stay

A season with one family, one village, one landing.

  3. Go back

Every year, to the same doors, until the story turns.

  4. Print

Silver gelatin, by hand, in her own darkroom.
